Exploring the theme of treasure, take these questions to your next time of prayer.

Where do you spend your time and finances? Write it down and bring it to the Lord. Is this what the Lord desires of you in this season? If so, give gratitude for His generosity and clarity in stewardship. If not, ask for the grace to approach stewardship of treasure in a new way in this season.

EXPLORING MONEY: SPIRITUAL

What do you spend on your spiritual life? What about your development as a musician?

Are there areas you wish to ask the Lord to provide financially?

Is there something in your time and your finances that will help edify your spiritual life or creativity as an artist?

EXPLORING MONEY: TECHNICAL

Is there an area within your musicianship that could use improvement? Perhaps this is a matter of developing your talent (through spending time and finances) or upgrading your gear or instruments. Perhaps you simply need to receive the gift of great art again by attending concerts or going to an exhibit. Explore this question with the Lord, and seek feedback from fellow artists.

What is your financial budget for your craft? What is your balance between borrowing gear/instruments, purchasing used, or investing in something new?

EXPLORING MONEY: COMMUNAL

How do you use your finances to elevate others in your field?

On a micro-scale, how do you use your treasure to create experiences of community in your area?

On a macro-scale, how do you patron the arts and teach others around you to do the same?
